Clients
The Clients section allows users to manage client information efficiently. This module includes the following features:
- Add Client: Manually add a new client by entering their details.
- Import: Bulk import client data using an external file.
- Export: Download client data for record-keeping or external use.
- Search and Filters: Easily find specific clients using filters or the search bar.
- Client List: Displays essential details like name, email, mobile, status, and date created.
This section streamlines client management, ensuring all relevant client information is accessible and organized.
Add client
The Add Client feature allows users to create a new client profile by entering essential details. This section is divided into two main parts:
1. Account Details
- Client Name & Email: Required fields for identifying the client.
- Profile Picture: Option to upload a client image.
- Country & Mobile: Define the client’s location and contact number.
- Gender & Language: Specify gender and preferred communication language.
- Client Category & Subcategory: Classify the client into a relevant category.
- Login Allowed: Enable or disable login access for the client.
- Receive Email Notifications: Choose whether the client should receive notifications.
2. Company Details
- Company Name & Website: Enter the business name and official website.
- Tax Information: Include tax name and GST/VAT number.
- Office Contact & Address: Provide office phone number, city, state, and postal code.
- Company & Shipping Address: Specify the main and shipping addresses.
- Added By: Displays the name of the user adding the client.
- Company Logo: Option to upload a logo for the client’s company.
- Notes: Add any additional information related to the client.
Once all details are filled in, users can either save the client or choose Save & Add More to continue adding new clients.
Importing Clients
The Import Client feature allows users to bulk upload client details into the system, streamlining data entry. The process consists of the following steps:
Upload Client File
- Users can upload a file in .xls, .xlsx, or .csv format.
- A sample import file is available for download to ensure correct formatting.
- An option is available to indicate whether the file contains a heading row.
- Mapping Fields
- The system automatically matches the uploaded file’s columns with the corresponding client fields.
- If necessary, users can edit field mappings manually.
- Confirm and Import
- Once all fields are correctly matched, users can submit the data for import.
- A confirmation screen displays the number of processed entries, ensuring the import is successful.
This feature helps efficiently manage client records by allowing users to quickly populate the database with client details from an external source.
Export
The Export Client feature allows users to download client data in an Excel (.xlsx) format for external use.
Steps to Export:
- Navigate to the Clients section.
- Click on the Export button.
- The system will generate an Excel file containing all client records.
- The file will be automatically downloaded, allowing users to view, analyze, or share the data as needed.
This feature enables users to back up client records, generate reports, or integrate data with other tools efficiently.
